General Information
|
- Would you like to reduce your risk of identity theft?

- Would you enjoy receiving your statements sooner?
- Would it be easier for you to store your statements
on a personal computer?
- Would you like to reduce paper clutter and simplify
filing financial information?
If you answered "yes" to any of these questions,
E-Statements are the right solution for you. All you need
to do is contact any one of our Personal Bankers to have
them help you enroll.
E-Statements are a service offered to all Central Bank customers
at no charge. This service allows you to receive your Bank
statements via e-mail rather than a paper copy sent through
the postal service. The benefits include:
- E-Statements look just like your paper statements but
arrive sooner and reduce the risk of identity theft when
paper statements are mailed or discarded.
- You can view, print and store your statements on your
personal computer . . . when it's convenient for you.
- Once you are signed-up for E-Statements, you can receive
your Online
Banking Bill Pay service free of charge1.

as a password to encrypt the E-Statement.
After enrollment:
- A message with an encrypted "Test E-Statement"
will be sent to the e-mail address you provided.
- You will need to open the "Test Statement"
by opening the attachment provided with the message.
- Then you will be prompted to provide your password to
open the statement.
- Please respond to the "Test Statement" message
following the directions outlined in the e-mail.
- Once we confirm your response, you will receive your
real E-Statement on your next statement cycle.
**Please respond to the test statement within 2 weeks
to avoid being removed from E-Statements.
**Please notify us of any e-mail address changes.

| Common Problems and Solutions |
- E-Statements will sometimes get accidentally collected
in a Junk Mail or SPAM Mail folder by your e-mail service.
Simply go to the mail folder containing the E-Statement
and depending on your e-mail service, you should be able
to mark the e-mail from us as "Not Junk Mail"
or "Not Spam". Doing this will usually let your
E-Statement be received through your "Inbox".
- If you are unable to open the E-Statement, you will
want to make sure you have the correct version of Adobe
Acrobat Reader. You can download the latest version of
Adobe
Acrobat Reader from their website for free.
- E-Statements and Online Banking are separate services
and the passwords are normally not the same for both services.
Currently with E-Statements your password does not expire,
so the password you choose during enrollment will always
be your password unless you ask for it to be changed.
- To reply back to the e-mail we sent you: open the e-mail
and click on the "Reply" button. In the reply
e-mail, you should see in the "To:" box our
e-mail address of "Electronic Statements" or
"estatements@centralbankonline.com". You can
then type in the reply e-mail and send it back to us.
